Urge ABX Air to Stop Shipping Monkeys to Laboratories!

Following successful PETA campaigns, nearly every major airline in the world—including Air ChinaChina Eastern AirlinesPhilippine Airlines, and United Airlines—has agreed to stop shipping monkeys to pain and misery in laboratories.
As laboratories get desperate to find ways to get their hands on monkeys to abuse, they are looking to charter airlines to handle their cruel cargo at a much greater financial cost.

PETA has obtained whistleblower reports indicating that a charter airline called ABX Air has recently handled shipments of thousands of monkeys from China to Charles River Laboratories, a notorious U.S. contract testing laboratory that has an extensive history of violating animal welfare laws. In fact, Charles River Laboratories’ CEO was named to PETA’s list of the worst CEOs for animals in laboratories.

At Charles River Laboratories, monkeys have thick plastic tubes forced up their nostrils and down their throats and are force-fed experimental drugs and chemicals, among other horrors. The company also sells monkeys to other laboratories, where they are locked alone in tiny cages, infected with deadly diseases, crippled, subjected to invasive surgeries, and killed.

Please take a minute of your time to urge ABX Air to join nearly every other airline in the world by banning shipments of primates destined for cruel experiments. Putting the subject line and letter into your own words will help draw attention to your e-mail.
